Designed in Sweden, Manufactured in Poland

In 2017, HAGS consolidated 11 facilities from Aneby, Sweden into a new 27,000 m² state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sosnowiec, Poland. This centralized production has reduced manufacturing times and is well-positioned to meet international demand. Investments in new paint lines and infrastructure ensure HAGS products remain competitive in a dynamic market.

Safety

An analysis of serious accidents on playgrounds show that most accidents occur on playground equipment that does not meet safety requirements. That is the reason why our product development is based on international research and safety standards.

TÜV

TÜV, short for Technischer Überwachungsverein (German for Technical Inspection Association), represents a network of independent organisations that offer testing, inspection, certification, and quality assurance services across multiple industries worldwide. These organisations were originally founded in Germany but have expanded globally and are recognised for their expertise in assessing compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

In Europe industry Standards are published by CEN (Centre of European norms). They are globally recognised and formally adopted by 34 member European countries, as well as others further afield.

SS-EN 1176: The European standard for playground equipment, EN 1176, is the safety standard that we adhere to for our products. Since the introduction of relevant standards, HAGS has consistently embraced them as the minimum requirement for the development and production of our products concerning design, functionality, play value, and safety.
SS-EN 16630: Our entire range of fitness products is crafted and produced in line with European safety standards for outdoor fitness equipment that is permanently installed. A recently issued standard outlines various specific requirements for such equipment, encompassing the inclusion of clear and effective user instruction decals.
SS-EN 15312: Our range of freely accessible multi-sport equipment aligns with the prevailing European standard. This encompasses safeguards for users against entrapment risks and thorough assessments of the load requirements on all components of the equipment.
TÜV: The German Technischer Überwachungs-Verein (TÜV) conducts the most comprehensive and effective testing and approval process globally. We take pride in stating that all play equipment manufactured by HAGS has received TÜV approval.

IPEMA

IPEMA (International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association), a member-driven organisation is dedicated to promoting safety in play equipment by encouraging proper design, construction, and maintenance practices. They offer an extensive certification program that validates compliance with ASTM and CSA playground Standards, providing independant assurance playground equipment adheres to these strict safety requirements.

In America industry standards are published by ASTM International (formerly known as American Society for Testing and Materials). They are globally recognised and formally adopted in America, as well as other markets further afield.

ASTM F1487 is a safety standard that specifically focuses on playground equipment for public use. It outlines detailed requirements for the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of playgrounds.

In Canada industry Standards are published by CSA Group Group (Canada Standards Association) and are fully adopted in Canada, providing requirements for use in rigorous Canadian settings.

CSA Z614 is a safety standard that specifically focuses on playground equipment and surfacing. It outlines detailed requirements for the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of playgrounds.
